Ryan Greenberg’s journey started with a clear mission: nurturing young minds. Fresh out of college, he began his career as a physical education teacher at the age of 22. However, life had broader horizons in store for him.
That summer, Ryan’s adventurous spirit led him to become a US Coast Guard licensed captain. He thrived on the open waters, working as a charter boat and tow boat captain. Living aboard, he crossed paths with a wise old man who, recognizing Ryan’s tenacity and work ethic, often invited him for dinner after long days on the boat. Impressed by Ryan’s determination, this gentleman became his private money lender, kickstarting Ryan’s foray into real estate.
Real Estate Debut
By 24, Ryan purchased his first home and rented out rooms to offset his living costs. His passion for real estate was further ignited by the Bigger Pockets Podcast and Brandon Turner. With the support of his maritime mentor, Ryan partnered with a college friend experienced in property investment.
Ascension
Ryan’s trajectory quickly ascended. He acquired dozens of properties, founded a property management firm overseeing hundreds of units, and established a construction business generating over $5 million in annual revenue. By 30, Ryan transitioned from teaching to full-time entrepreneurship. He also launched an educational and motivational podcast, “The Everyday Millionaire Show,” where he had the privilege of interviewing his initial inspiration, Brandon Turner.
Despite his success, Ryan’s journey was not without challenges. He did not come from wealth and faced multiple near-bankruptcies. However, with unwavering grit, he persevered, refusing to let failure be an option. Today, Ryan is a testament to determination and resilience. As the owner of two multi-million dollar businesses and a formidable real estate portfolio, he embodies the belief that with passion and hard work, any horizon is reachable.
